A Meet on the Berkshire Line
Title:  A Meet on the Berkshire Line
Description:  While NYNH&H ALCo RS-3 #562 holds the siding at Lenox awaiting its turn to enter the station, NYNH&H GE 50 Tonner #67 boards passengers at the 1902-built station. In reality, these are the units of the Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum, neither of which ever saw service on the New York, New Haven & Hartford. The NYNH&Hs Berkshire Line, which many similar locomotives once operated on, is now owned by the Housatonic Railroad and is traversed almost daily by newer, though not by much, EMD GP35 diesel electric locomotives.
